Following the departure of Johanna in Autumn 2022 we are delighted to welcome a new colleague to join me at Hermes Health: Chloe Spencer.
Chloe is a fellow osteopathic member of the British Association of Performing Arts Medicine and British Voice Association. In addition to her osteopathic work in London and Surrey she continues to work as a singing teacher with individuals and choirs.
She writes:
Following a varied career in music, archaeology, forensics, TV and finance, Chloe retrained and graduated from the University College of Osteopathy (formerly the British School of Osteopathy) with a Masters in Osteopathy (MOst). With a background in drama and singing (both in teaching and performance) Chloe has a unique insight into manual therapy for the voice. Her treatments include standard osteopathic techniques of manipulation and soft tissue work. Chloe has also trained in sports massage, cranial osteopathy with the Sutherland College of Cranial Osteopathy, breathing therapy with Dr Rosalba Courtney, and is a registered Buteyko Breathing Practitioner.
We are delighted to welcome a new colleague who shares a similar outlook on osteopathy and wellbeing. Her additional clinical skills in voice and breath work will be a welcome addition to the practice.
Chloe will initially attend once a week (generally Mondays) but will offer additional cover during periods when Michael is away (see below). Chloe will be happy to see both new and existing patients so that we can work as a team. This will increase the clinic capacity and reduce waiting times for future appointments. Appointments with Chloe will be available through the online booking system and bookings will open on 1st June.
Michael will be away for the following periods in Summer 2023:
June 13-21
July 17-21
September 11-15
Chloe will be away August 7th and 21st.
